The Opportunity
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic and client-focused Independent Financial Advisory firm. As a Chartered Financial Planner, you will be at the heart of our client relationships, playing a crucial role in helping clients make confident decisions through holistic financial planning across wealth management and protection.
You will gain invaluable experience in the fast-paced and ever-evolving financial services sector, specifically within a genuinely independent, whole-of-market advice firm. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career, offering:
- Client Interaction & Impact: You will inherit an established portfolio of clients and take responsibility for ongoing reviews, long-term relationships, and ensuring advice remains suitable as life changes..
- Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside experienced advisers, a dedicated client servicing team, and our research and planning support, in a friendly culture where doing the right thing for clients is always the priority.
- Diverse and Challenging Work: No two weeks look the same. You will balance regular client reviews with ad hoc planning needs, retirement and investment strategy, protection conversations, and the ongoing delivery of clear, compliant advice.
- New Business Support and Reward: You will receive firm-generated leads and have the opportunity to develop new client relationships, supported by a new business bonus and ongoing income share structure.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing independent financial advice to an existing client bank, across pensions, investments, retirement planning and protection.
- Conducting annual and ad hoc client reviews, maintaining strong long-term relationships.
- Ensuring ongoing suitability of advice and recommendations in line with FCA requirements and firm standards.
- Working closely with the client servicing and research and planning teams to deliver a smooth, high-quality client experience
- Managing your client pipeline effectively, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
- Developing relationships with new clients introduced by the firm, progressing enquiries from first conversation through to implementation.
- Liaising with product providers and professional connections where appropriate to support client outcomes.
- Operating at all times within the firm’s compliance guidelines, processes and service level standards.

Our HQ overlooks the beautiful Holes Bay in Poole, Dorset, with the ability to have a hybrid working pattern.
- Work Hours:
Our standard working hours are 8:30am-5:00pm with an hour of ‘you time’ for lunch. However, our team works a variety of different hours that work for both of us. - We’re firm believers in measuring output rather than hours at a seat. Let’s have a conversation!
About You
- Chartered Financial Planner status (CII) is essential.
- Diploma Level 4 qualified (minimum).
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, retirement planning, and tax and trust planning (within role scope).
- Confident working within defined business processes, service standards and FCA requirements.
- Articulate and professional, with excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills, producing clear and compliant suitability reports.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Highly organised with effective time management, able to prioritise client needs and work to deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a genuine willingness to take ownership of workload and client outcomes.
- Strong client service mindset, comfortable dealing with clients at all levels and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and confident working with financial services systems and platforms.
