About Me
My name is Daniel Edmunds, and I’m an Independent Financial Adviser here at Baggette + Co. Wealth Management. I look after many of our existing clients across the Dorset and Hampshire area, some of whom have been with our company for well over 10 years. It’s wonderful to see those relationships grow as I begin helping their children with their finances too.
I’ve worked in financial services for nearly 20 years, and with over four years’ experience as an Independent Financial Adviser, I bring a great deal of passion and expertise to what I do. I particularly enjoy supporting families with retirement planning and working with business owners on areas such as financial planning efficiencies and staff pension schemes.
I like to think of myself as professional yet approachable, and I believe in going the extra mile, with honest customer service at the heart of everything I do.
My Professional Background
My journey in financial services began at one of the UK’s mutual life and pensions providers nearly 20 years ago. This gave me a solid foundation before I chose to focus on independent financial advice. My background has provided me with a broad understanding of financial products and strategies.
I’m always keen to learn and develop, which is why I’ve earned my DipPFS and Cert CII (MP) designations, and I’m currently working towards my Chartered IFA qualifications in my spare time.
I really value Baggette + Co’s family feel and the way the business is run. The fee structure is straightforward and easy for clients to understand, which I believe is essential in today’s market. We’re also independent financial advisers and a Chartered practice—both important markers of quality that I’m proud to be part of.
What Drives Me in My Work
What truly motivates me in my role is seeing the positive impact that good financial planning can have on my clients’ lives. I care deeply about delivering strong financial results, excellent service, and creating personalised plans that grow and adapt as you move through life’s different stages.
One of the things I really enjoy about working at Baggette + Co. is the supportive, family-like atmosphere within the team. We have a wealth of knowledge to share, and everyone is always willing to help each other. The firm is incredibly well-respected in the Dorset area, and our close connections with other professionals such as solicitors and accountants allow me to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions for the wide range of financial planning needs our clients have.
As an Independent Financial Adviser, I value the ability to make quick, tailored decisions for my clients. It’s this flexibility that helps us maintain our high standards and uphold our unique, people-first ethos.
Life Outside of Work
When I’m not focused on financial planning, you’ll often find me out on the trails along the Jurassic Coast. I’m a passionate trail runner and compete in ultra-marathons, as well as running with Westbourne Running Club. I also enjoy hiking, cycling, and spending time with family and friends back in my home county of Oxfordshire.
Away from the trails, my favourite thing is spending quality time with my young daughter and partner. And if I have any free moments left, they’re usually spent with my head in a book, diligently working towards my Chartered IFA qualifications.
