About Me
I’m John, a Client Support Administrator at Baggette + Co. Wealth Management. I support our advisers and clients with a wide variety of administrative and client servicing tasks, including data gathering, annual review preparation, ad hoc valuations, scanning and general business support.
My role is all about helping things run smoothly behind the scenes so our advisers can provide the best possible service to our clients. By ensuring information is accurate, organised and readily available, I help contribute to an efficient and positive experience for both our clients and our team.
My Professional Background
I have around six years of experience in the financial services industry, working across several areas including bookkeeping, mortgage servicing, and Life & Protection administration. I also spent time at a financial planning practice, which gave me valuable insight into the advice process and helped me feel right at home when I joined Baggette + Co.
The variety of roles I’ve held has given me a broad understanding of financial services and a strong foundation in client support, administration, and relationship management. It has allowed me to hit the ground running and provide meaningful support to our advisers and clients from day one.
What Drives Me in My Role
I’m naturally ambitious and always looking for ways to challenge and improve myself, both professionally and personally. Whether it’s studying towards professional qualifications, completing CII exams, or taking on physical challenges such as the London Marathon, I enjoy pushing myself outside my comfort zone and continually learning.
I also genuinely enjoy working with people. Building strong relationships with clients, advisers and colleagues is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role. Knowing that the work I do helps make a real difference to people’s lives, supports important financial planning decisions, and contributes to excellent client outcomes keeps me motivated to deliver my best every day.
Giving back is also important to me, and I enjoy combining my sporting interests with fundraising activities. Recent challenges have included the London Marathon and the Bournemouth Pier to Pier Swim in support of Macmillan Cancer Support and the British Heart Foundation.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, I’m a very active person and spend much of my free time running, swimming, cycling and keeping fit. I regularly take part in fundraising events and enjoy setting myself new sporting challenges. I also enjoy bouldering and airsoft, which provide a great mix of mental and physical challenge.
I’m a keen Formula 1 fan and follow the sport closely throughout the season. One of my favourite places locally is the New Forest, particularly for mountain biking. It’s fantastic all year round, whether in the height of summer or on a crisp winter day.
When I’m not training, studying or out exploring, I enjoy watching films, gaming and spending time with friends. It’s a good balance that helps me recharge and stay energised for whatever challenge comes next. Quite the duality, really.
