About Me
I am an Independent Financial Adviser with over 25 years’ experience in financial services. I provide advice on all aspects of pensions, investments, and life assurance. I also support clients with inheritance tax planning and other financial planning matters.
I have undertaken advanced qualifications to deepen my knowledge and am well-versed in the full range of investment options available. I also have extensive expertise in all types of occupational pension schemes.
My Professional Background
I served 22 years in the British Army, where I developed the discipline and commitment that continue to guide me today. After leaving the military, I completed my studies and exams to become a Financial Adviser — a role I’ve held ever since.
What Drives Me in My Role
I take great pride in building long-lasting relationships with my clients, both new and longstanding. I genuinely enjoy meeting with them and guiding them through important decisions. I’m driven by the satisfaction of knowing that the advice I provide helps them move closer to achieving their goals — and that they trust me to be part of that journey.
Life Outside of Work
I regularly attend a local gym to keep fit – although to be fair, I probably spend more time in the sauna and steam room than actually working out! I also enjoy travelling whenever possible, as well as eating out and socialising.
I stay in touch with many of my ex-Army colleagues, and we meet up regularly to attend sporting events and, more often than not, talk nonsense over a few drinks.
I’m a registered caseworker for the Armed Forces charity SSAFA, and in the past, I’ve dedicated a great deal of time to supporting ex-Forces personnel and their families in times of need.
I also enjoy following football, but as a lifelong Coventry City supporter, I’m very used to disappointment!
