About Me
I am the Managing Director at Baggette + Co Wealth Management. In my day-to-day work, I have the pleasure of overseeing a broad range of operational aspects, from creating our budgets and forecasts, processes, and procedures to managing our excellent back office support team.
Having spent a couple of decades in businesses of all shapes and sizes, I’ve got a soft spot for building the kind that lasts. Businesses where the people are smiling, cash flow is strong, and processes run without a fuss.
Ultimately, my main mission is to bring sensible order to growing businesses, making sure we have the right structure, systems, and governance to thrive. When challenges pop up, I’m always ready to jump in, fix issues, and find solutions!
My Professional Background
Starting as a Commercial Pilot, I built a career focused on delivering results and driving improvements in operations, change management, business transformation, and programme management. I’ve taken on senior leadership roles across various sectors, tackling both short-term and long-term strategic projects. For example, as Academy Director at a major flight training school, I led the team in increasing training output, establishing a new UK site, and integrating a new aircraft fleet.
In 2020, I received a Presidential Fellowship from the Royal Aeronautical Society, making me the youngest woman to receive this honour. I hold an Executive MBA from Cass Business School in London, supported by a Coca-Cola Global Women’s Leadership Scholarship.
Now, I have channelled my drive into the financial sector, where I am Managing Director and Co-owner of a Wealth Management firm and the Co-owner and Operations & Finance Director of Delta Mortgages.
What Drives Me in My Role
One of the things I love about my role is that I get to collaborate with pretty much everyone across the team. Alongside my co-director, I help shape and implement our company’s strategy to build a truly client-focused business.
I’m involved with the team from the initial spark of an idea right through to seeing the impact it has. Whether it’s dreaming up new ways to improve things, tracking our performance, or keeping everyone in the loop, I’m involved every step of the way.
Life Outside Work
Adventure is my constant companion outside of work, and my free time is all about discovery! I absolutely love trying anything new – a new city, a quirky restaurant, an exciting experience – I’m always game!
My big dream is to see every country on the planet, so I’m constantly chasing the next adventure.
My poor husband and daughter are often swept away on my travel escapades! When I’m not plotting the next itinerary, you’ll find me either getting some fresh air on a Dorset walk, hitting the gym, or curled up with a gripping crime thriller.
