Oliver Parsons and Charlie Middlemiss join the Baggette + Co. Wealth Management Client Servicing Team

Baggette + Co. Wealth Management Strengthens Client Services Team With Two New Appointments

Baggette + Co. Wealth Management continues its strategic growth with the appointment of Oliver Parsons and Charlie Middlemiss as Client Servicing Administrators, further strengthening the firm’s commitment to delivering high-quality independent financial advice across Dorset and Hampshire.

The two new team members will work closely with Baggette + Co.’s independent financial advisers, helping clients receive clear communication and personal support throughout every stage of the financial planning process.

Oliver and Charlie join the firm from different professional and educational backgrounds, but share the same ambition to build long-term careers in financial planning and become independent financial advisers.

Their appointments also increase the firm’s capacity to support individuals, families and business owners across Poole, Bournemouth, Dorset, Hampshire and the wider South Coast.

Investing in the Next Generation of Financial Planning

Oliver joins Baggette + Co. after working in bookkeeping while completing a master’s degree in finance, where he developed a particular interest in investments and financial planning.

Charlie previously worked as a Finance Assistant after deciding university wasn’t the right route for him. Having enjoyed studying economics and finance, he saw wealth management as a career where he could continue learning, build meaningful relationships and help people work towards their financial goals.

Both were attracted to Baggette + Co. by the opportunity to develop within a firm of independent financial advisers that supports professional qualifications, practical experience and clear career progression.

Charlie said:

“I wanted somewhere where there was real progression. Wealth management felt like an area where I could build a long-term career, continue learning and eventually become a financial adviser.”

Supporting Clients Throughout the Financial Planning Process

The Client Services team works closely with Baggette + Co.’s independent financial advisers to keep each piece of client work moving and make sure clients know what is happening.

Client Servicing Administrators liaise with pension, investment and insurance providers, prepare documents, gather information, respond to enquiries and keep clients updated throughout the financial planning process.

Their work gives advisers more time to focus on providing personal financial advice while clients continue to receive clear communication and ongoing support.

Oliver said:

“I like the idea that the work we’re doing can have a positive impact on someone’s life from a financial point of view.

“We’re helping advisers deliver the best possible service while making sure clients always feel supported.”

Creating Clear Career Pathways into Financial advice

Baggette + Co. supports employees who want to work towards professional financial planning qualifications while gaining practical experience within the business.

For Oliver and Charlie, joining the Client Services team provides a broad understanding of the advice process, from the first client enquiry through to the implementation and ongoing review of a financial plan.

The firm also runs its Financial Adviser Development Academy, a six-year programme designed to provide a structured route from Client Servicing Administrator through to Chartered Financial Planner.

The programme combines on-the-job experience, professional qualifications, mentoring and dedicated study time, helping people build their knowledge and progress through each stage of a career in financial planning.

Supporting future financial planning talent

Oscar Hjälmås, CEO of Baggette + Co. Wealth Management, said:

“What stood out about Oliver and Charlie was their attitude. They want to learn, they’re ambitious and they genuinely care about helping people.

“Client Services is a brilliant place to begin a career in financial planning. You gain a broad understanding of how the advice process works and see what good client care looks like every day.

“We’re looking forward to supporting both as they build their knowledge, gain their qualifications and work towards becoming independent financial advisers.”

Continuing growth across Dorset and Hampshire

Established in Poole in 1986, Baggette + Co. Wealth Management provides independent financial planning, retirement planning, pension advice, investment planning and wealth management services.

The firm supports individuals, families and business owners across Poole, Bournemouth, Dorset, Hampshire and the wider South Coast.

The appointments form part of Baggette + Co.’s continued investment in its people, its Client Services team and the development of future financial planning talent.
